Free Vintage Valentine Image

Hi Everyone!
Are you having a great Sunday? I am! It's rainy and chilly here. A perfect day for working on Valentine cards - so just a short post for me today.

From your childhood, do you remember those old corney Valentine poems that were always used to create that absolutely wonderful Valentine for mom? You know the one.....

Roses are Red
Violets are Purple
Sugar is sweet
And so are you!

I wonder how many different renditions there are to this little ditty? I bet thousands.... which ones do you remember?

Boy, that sure is a heavy subject for a rainy Sunday afternoon. lol

Anyway, here's a cute little valentine that I ran across. Maybe if you're trying to get ready for Valentine's Day, you can use this. Make sure you click on it before you save it.

Have a great week, plumb full of smiles!

Jester Thank You and Free Vintage Image

Hi Everyone
How's your January going? I can't believe we're in the middle of the month already! Time sure does fly. I had such high hopes for January. I was going to accomplish so MUCH! Lol I have been able to get a couple of the things on my list finished but still have way to much left for me to complete them all. I'll continue to plod along.

I thought I'd share an image this week. I've been thinking about starting on my Valentine's cards for the grandkids. So I've been reviewing what I have scanned and I ran across this little jester. I thought he was so cute. I needed to make a couple of thank you cards and the sentiment Jester to Thank You came to mind. How perfect! So here's my card.

I wanted him to be bright and cheery with a little whimsy. Do you think I accomplished that? He's definitely bright! lol There's lots of layers and I popped up the sentiment and the jester. I kind of like the results.

Now it's your turn. What can you create with this happy little fellow? I'd love to see the results! Just make sure you click on him before you save him.

Have a great week, plumb full of smiles!

New Year's Wisdom - maybe - and a huge Cut Out Sale

Hello my blogging friends!
Did you have a great Christmas and New Years? I sure hope so! I know I'm probably the last person in the blogging world to ask that question. All the good bloggers have completed their posts - probably on New Year's Day - and here it is the 6th of January and I'm just getting around to it. Better late than never, I guess. lol

I've been procrastinating, primary because I wanted to come up with some bit of wisdom or some kind of a great insight to post. But here I sit, still waiting for the light blub to come on - I think it must be burned out. lol

As I sit here and reflect on the activities of the last 2 weeks, I can't help but dwell on all the changes that have occurred this past year. The passing of dad, mom's bout with the UTI, the sisters losing their minds and the legal mess they've created, what a disaster! The new year just has to better, I sure don't know how it could be any worse.

I love sharing little snapshots of my family with you and of course today isn't any different. Just a couple of Christmas pics....

The feast - or the aftermath!

Can we open them now?

Do you like my new blouse?

WOW! So cool! Logan driving the Vet

I think I'll nap while Tara does my nails.

Look! They're growing!

Hopefully, that wasn't too painful! lol

I love it when I get to see your projects that are created using my vintage images. It really lifts my spirit, knowing that others love these gorgeous images and are out there creating these special keepsakes. I can't help but feel that the individual who collected the cards and so lovingly put them in scrapbooks is up in heaven smiling down on us. It just gives me a warm cozy feeling. And with that, I'd like to share a project completed by the sweet Bennie Harman. How surprised I was when I received this sweet little tag in the mail. Thanks for sharing Bennie! I wish my camera took better pics... it looks so much better in real life!

Have you seen the special I'm running on ebay ? It's basically buy 5 Cut Outs for 10.50 which is really a buy 3 and get 2 free. The sale is only running on ebay. I'm not sure how long I'll run it, so hurry and take advantage of this great sale.

Oh... if the link item isn't there any longer - maybe it sold.. lol - you can check to see if it's been re-listed by looking at my ebay store .

Have a great week, plumb full of smiles!
