Free Military Easter Image

Hi All,
Have you had a great week? It's been really busy here - lots and lots of stuff going on. My youngest is starting his journey to Afghanistan. Right now he's in pre-deployment mode. He's spending 3 weeks at Fort McCoy getting his soldiers ready to go. I'm really going to miss him when he ships out.

Have you watched that new series Coming Home on TLC? It's so nice that such special events are happening for the returning soldiers. Sunday night is definitely my TLC night between Coming Home and Army Wives, I'm glued to the tube! My other must sees are Good Wife, Parenthood, House and American Idol. What shows are your must sees?

Any way, back to Trev, he'll be leaving for Afghanistan before Easter. The holidays will seem a little less festive without him being here. :(

I know I have some military families that visit my blog, so I thought I'd share this image with you. Make sure you click on it before you save it.

Don't forget that starting on March 31, PLV is sponsoring a challenge over at Craft Us Crazy where you'll have a chance to win 5 Cut Outs. This is the first time PLV has sponsored this challenge site and I'm really excited about it. The DT's will be using some Easter Cut Out images, so if you need ideas be sure and check them out. The challenge runs for 2 weeks so you will have plenty of time to get your entry completed.

I hope you have a great week, plumb full of smiles!
Peggy

  2. I just have to say reading this - I could of written it! I love all the shows you mentioned minus House and American Idol...and altho I do not have a son in the military...I do have a Trev! I can not watch tonight's episode of Army Wives...I tried but I'm avoiding all things sad. It's DVR'd and hopefully soon I'll be able to catch up on what I've missed.

I will keep your family in my prayers and I hope that you will have a very blessed Easter!

  3. Hi...I too have a son in the military, and he just got home from Iraq a couple weeks ago. But her knows he will be going to Afghanistan, hopefully for his last deployment as he's getting out in 2014! Yay! I caught one show of 'Coming Home' and would've been crying ... I don't watch the other shows, i.e. Army Wives...believe it would make me SAD. And I have lived with daughter-in-law and family for almost 2 years, and life on a military base...is...what can I say...full of drama...and 'Peyton Place'! Anyhow, our guys and gals serve to protect our freedom and my thoughts and prayers go with them as well as being very proud of them all, and especially my son.

  4. Hi sis!! Give Trev a big hug and kiss from his Aunt Sherri, and a super big hug from his Uncle Randy. We're soooo PROUD of him!!! So sad I won't get to see him at the shindig. There's only a couple "must see" shows I have. I love the Bachelor when it's airing, American Idol is another one. And the last one is Ghost Hunters. LOL! LOVE that show and MUST see it without fail! I'm even collecting the seasons on DVD. LOL! The image and sentiment you are sharing this week is gorgeous!!! Love you!!

  5. Tell your son "Thank You" from myself & my family for protecting us & keeping us safe from harm. I truly admire him! And a big thank you for the heartfelt sentiment & pic. Beautiful!

My "must see" shows are American Idol, White Collar, Harry's Law (new with Kathy Bates), Celebrity Apprentice, Chicago Code, Undercover Boss and Law & Order.

I just made my DT card for Craft Us Crazy & had so much fun working with your graphics. Thank you so much, Peggy! You're a sweetie!

    Huggies ~
